As part of the Midtown Exchange redevelopment plan several years ago, the Chicago Lofts have been renovated from its Sears Roebuck warehouse to the upscale housing unit that it is today. The exposed brick walls and ductwork give the inside of this building an industrial style that many residents appreciate these days. The public transportation system runs by the Chicago Lofts for easy commuting and travel to other parts of Minneapolis and beyond.
